Description of the activity:

We meet at the parking of Barranco de la Piedra,Arafo,  at 9:00 AM and we start walking up the ravine. The diversity of floor vegetation is one of the richest in Europe, but even worldwide taking an important place, giving us the feeling that we walking in the Jurassic Park.

If is a sunny day we can observe various butterflies and flies, laying in the sun. They are like living fossils from the times of the dinosaurs.

If the group is motivated we can reach until the cave of San Agustin, where we can refresh ourselves with he’s famous water, very low in minerals and we walking back on the same way down.

After all the effort  and the living wonders of Barranco de Añavingo , we going to pick up our car and celebrate our trekking with local food and wine (optional) in Restaurante El Perenquén Glotón.

Recommended Material:

Backpack (40L), technical T-shirt, mountain coat, long pants, waterproof breathable jacket,  mountain boots or trekking shoes, one meal, water minimum 1,5 – 2 liter, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, camera, mobile, small first aid kit, medicine (in the case of special illnesses) to have some clean clothes for after the activity, etc.
